Hello, I would love to find a list of particles and classifiers - and maybe short examples - in ZapChinese. Eg: "this" is for long things, "that" is for living beings/animals, "that" is for short things...
That would make it easier to 'experiment' with the language and get more and more a feeling how to use the words.

A hint: If you don't want to be spamed use the word-verification. Even anonym people can write comments, but you don't get spam.

Hello,
I want to learn Mandarin on line but the sample characters are not shown on my system. Is there a program that i can download in order for me to see them?

Hello,
I cannot view the sample mandarin characters on my screen for some reasons, has anyone got any ideas of what i can do to rectify the situation?

Hi, My name is Kevin.
I am a Chinese from HongKong.
Only after I have traveled in china in this summer holiday, i started to realise the importantness of knowing mandarin and simplifed chinese. Currently i am attending some mandarin course which is helpful. As i can already write traditional chinese, may i ask do you know any way/book/material which allows me to learn simplifed chinese quicker, i.e. replace certain radical/part with this....?
Thank you very much,
Best,
Kevin
